Anybody likely having a repeat c-section? How many would this be for you? I had a c/s with DS due to failure to progress after 22 hours. Poor kid was a cone head for three months from being lodged in there so bad! I will likely have a repeat this time, I've been told recovery is easier the second time, so here's hoping :) So, my EDD is 6/5, but baby will likely arrive the end of May.

I will be having a repeat C/S too. I am not looking forward to it. I had an emergency C/S with my youngest and it was awful but everyone says that a scheduled C/S is not near as bad as an emergency and it also gets easier each time. So I am praying it wont be so bad this time. I am due 6/1 so I am thinking late May as well.

I really don't know yet... I had an emergency c-section and it was traumatic and the recovery was difficult. I just don't want to go through it again, but I will if I have to.

In New Mexico they won't do a VBAC. I can drive to Durango,Co and have a VBAC which a lot of people do. But it is 45 minutes away and the thought of rushing to Durango in labor kinda freaks me out too.

Im not sure yet.. but if going by the first says anything my body doesnt handle labour well.. i had a c-section for my first because my water broke and i was put on pitocin but i didnt get past 4cms (or 6cm.. i cant remember) and it was getting to 24 hours since my water broke increasing the risk of infection so we decided to do it and even worse i couldnt get the epi so i was knocked out and dont even remember the first few days because i was so out of it! I am going to try a VBAC (my doc is really pushing for it which is good) but will just have to wait and see what my body does :)

That is why I am so on the fence about it. But, everyone I talk to say there is a huge difference between an emeregency C Section and a planned one.

This will be C #3 for me. My first delivery was an emergency as well. 12 hours of labor with 2 hours of pushing - the baby wasn't delievered until 130am and I was so tired.

This will be c-section #3 for me. Both of my pervious ones started off as planned, but my children wanted to come early. So I had 2 emergency c-sections. I def recovered fasted with my 2nd one.

I will be having my 5th c-section around 6/4, but I always go early so I'm fair game anytime after 5/21/12

This will be #3 for me. My first was an emergency c section and the second one planned. I had a much easier time recuperating the second time around. Good luck!
