Air travel?

Hi Ladies. Does anyone have experiance with traveling with a little one? How young? What things might be helpful to make traveling go more smoothly and easier if that's a possibility with a wee one?
My mom just had a second heart attack. Her first was while we were preg, back in March. She's having an angiogram right now and they're going to go from there. Last time, they were able to put in a stint without needing to do open heart surgery. I haven't talked to dh yet about going out there. Am I crazy thinking I could help her when I have a 10 week old I'm trying to take care of?

I flew with my first across the country when she was 11 weeks. I flew a lot with her and that flight was the easiest because she pretty much slept the whole time since I was holding her the whole time. She'd wake up to eat then went right back to sleep. I'm not sure though of how much you'd be able to help out though with JB but your mom would probably just love having you and JB there.
