Suck. Tucks med pads aren't helping.I'm gonna ask the doc tomorrow. I only had this issue during my last pregnancy in the 3rd trimester....and they just snuck up on me a few days ago..but I can't sleep. :(

When they first got bad every movement hurt for a day.

get the Preparation H cream. It smells weird and leaves a stain in your undies but it makes the suckers go away for a little while. Docs going to tell you to drink plenty of water and to be sure to get lots of fiber to keep things moving. He may also recommend a laxative like Senekot if you are having constipation problems too. Straining with a bm can make them worse. You may also want to get some pre-moistened wipes for the bathroom instead of the often irritating regular tp...until they go away you want to avoid sitting for prolonged periods or if you must, use a doughnut pillow to alleviate the pressure.
Don't ya just love these little conversations we have?

I have a serving of metamucil every day. It makes it easier to go which keeps the buggers at bay.

Mineral oil gets my son going when he's constipated. It lubricates the poop but doesn't get absorbed. It's also tasteless, so he drinks it straight without complaint. Give it a try. It can't hurt.

The doc recommended colace for constipation. I take 2 to 3 tabs a day..it doesn't make you go, it just makes it easier. And he put me on a steroid foam thingy for the discomfort...they don't hurt..but they're still there. He just said itscthe increased blood supply during pregnancy and there's nothing much you can do til ya give birth. The biggest scare is when they burst or bleed! Ugggggggggggggggg....

I have been on colace since 17 weeks when my cerclage was put in and nothig yet for me. It helps a lot to stay regular especially on bed rest. Good luck ladies.
