1st Appointment

I forgot to come on here and update. I had my very first appointment with my midwife on Dec 6. Everything looked great. I was only measuring 9 cm and I was 12 1/2 weeks at the appointment, but I looked back at my records and on at least one of my pregnancies I measured that small at my first appointment and very quickly caught up to the normal measurements in the next two appointments, so I am not too worried about it. My midwife didn't even mention it, so I don't think she thought it was a problem either. We did get to hear a heartbeat, which was wonderful since that is the first time I've seen anyone this pregnancy and it was a nice confirmation that yes, there is a healthy little baby growing in there. The heart rate was 161 for anyone who is interested. :)
