All is well. Woo hoo! I was so nervous because it had been four weeks since my last appointment.
Hb was in the 160s. I now weigh 124.9 pounds (pre-pg was 118), but I did have weight loss in there. MFM was not concerned and said I'm doing ok. He measured my belly and said I'm actually measuring about 25-26w. He confirmed my suspicion that I've been having more RLP. I've also been having some pressure down low (bladder area) and some right under my sternum. He thinks my bp might be dropping at times (like getting up too quickly) and causing that. My bp today was 106/58. He asked me if I have nausea with it and seemed satisfied when I said that I don't. My bp is usually around 110/70. We also talked about my fear of getting a PE or DVT with childbirth. He said the risk is low, about the same if you are on BCP. I was on those for years and never had any problems so he said that I probably won't. He really calmed my fears.
The nurse gave me the lab slip for the glucose challenge test and I almost cried. It just seems so unreal that I have made it far enough for that. I don't think I've ever been so happy to hear I will be getting stuck with a needle. Since I have other labwork that needs drawn tomorrow I will get it at the same time. I hope they can do a thyroid panel and this with one stick. I think they can.
My next appointment is in four weeks. I was surprised at the spacing again. The MFM smiled and said, "That's what happens when you are normal." Normal? I'm high-risk, but really haven't had any problems. I'm taking that as a very good thing.
