I hope that you are in the small 20-30% of women who do not experience morning sickness, but in case you do, here are some ways to ease it.

I don't get out of bed til I've put something in my stomach (for me it's some crackers, pretzels or fresh dry bread), and I try not to stuff my stomach. If I wake up hungry in the middle of the night, I eat the crackers or whatever. And sipping ginger ale has helped this past week. I've heard chamomile tea helps - I've tried it but haven't gotten good results enough to know if it really works yet. I always put milk in my tea and that might be counter-productive, for me...

My "morning" sickness got so bad that I ended up calling the midwife for help. She suggested that I take 75-100 mg of vitamin B6 and one original formula Unisom each night before I go to bed. It's saved me from so much misery, I wish I would have called her earlier! Plus, the Unisom helps me sleep which is another plus.

I used B6 with Kolby, but had never heard of taking Unisom.
