I think I am going insane. I have taken two cross-country flight (at 11-12 weeks and 26 weeks), I felt well on those flights. I just had to see my parents who are too old and sick to travel, so it might be my only chance to see them and to have them see my two boys. Tonight we are going to San Diego for vacation (DH + me + kids), it's only 1.5 hours flight. But I started being worried, am I exposing my fetus to unnecessary radiation??? OMG.

Flying is safe up until I think 36 weeks! You may want to start carrying around a letter from your doctor stating you are okay to travel because if the airline thinks you look too pregnant and may be lying about how far along you are they can stop you from getting on the flight for safety reasons. THe big thing with air travel is the fact it can cause preterm labor which is why they don't recommend it later in pregnancy. =)

Thanks! I was concerned about radiation but it seems to be fairly low.
