My doctor didnt seem concerend because it was still in the normal range but I just want some reasurance or personal experiences.
Up until Thrusday, the babies heart rate has been in the 160's. We had a sono at 10 weeks it was about 163, the doctor's appointment at 14 weeks was 155-165 and then all of a sudden at 18 weeks it dropped to 125-133ish.... Like I said, it is still in the normal range but it still concerns me a bit. I just baught a doppler off of ebay (second child and just getting around to this:smileysurprised:) I will so appriciate the reasurance of being able to hear the baby any time I want and I'm sure I can sell it back for not much less than purchased for when we are done having kids...
Anyway, any thoughts on the drop?

I believe that the heart rate is suppose to slow down over time, at 10 weeks mine was 180 and now at 18 weeks it was 155ish. If the doctor isn't concerned I am sure you are fine.
This happened to me last time i was pregnant... it had been in the 160s and then next time it was 130 and I was so petrified something was wrong but my midwife never blinked. Of course i raced home and googled it and then I felt silly... its probably a combination of two things: 1 the baby is getting bigger and 2 it could have been asleep. Resting heartrate is much slower. =) His heartrate hovered in the 120 - 130 range for the rest of the pregnancy!

My youngest DS's fetal HR was in the LOW 120's throughout the 2nd and 3rd Ts!
