Seems breastfeeding is getting some publicity recently. From moms getting thrown off buses, and out of restaurants to Moms using their breast milk as a weapon.

I could never do it. Not with DS, not with any at least not without a nursing cover. It is just because I am very reserved with my body and apperance but I applaud the women who can. Good for you for feeding your baby the best!

Before having Eirik i SWORE i wouldn't nurse anywhere anytime... and then we went out places and he needed to eat so well, I fed him! At first it was so nerve wrecking...

I nursed both my kids for 13 months each, and actually never had the occasion to nurse them in public, I always feed them right before i went out anywhere, and while babies are unpredictable and can be hungary at anytime, it never happened to me.

There's nothing obscene about it at all!

IDK why, but I was never embarrased to do it.

I was terrified of what people thought of me when i breasfed my son in public but quickly realized people dont really notice let alone carel

I think it may be uncomfortable for others to walk by and see someone with the whole breast exposed but if your moderatly covered, nobody seems to notice.

i didnt want to stress about it too much, being a new mommy is hard enough and i did my fair share of sitting in the public bathrooms (in which NEVER have chairs) on the toilet before saying forget it im going OUT! i didnt care what people thought!!

Babies need to eat. more often than kids and adults. if they won't drink from a bottle, what else can you do? If people don't like it, they don't have to watch. and they can explain to their little ones that's it's a normal, healthy way for a baby to eat.
