Hello from across the pond

Hello ladies,

My name is Charlotte and even though I'm from the UK I'd love to join this board - I have browsed these boards for the better part of a decade and can't believe I can actually join one now. I just found out today that I am four weeks pregnant (the two digital clearblue tests I took were very clear - they came up straight away with 4-5 weeks pregnant even though it wasn't FMU and I took them in quick succession). My husband and I were not expecting to get pregnant. In fact, I have been on the pill. We think this has happened because I had a stomach bug for a week soon after my last period and didn't think to use extra protection. I am starting to get very excited as I am a very broody person, but we're still quite overwhelmed. So we're going to take each day as it comes!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better and I hope we all have a happy and healthy nine months!

Congrats and welcome, Charlotte! Do your pregnancy tests in the UK show how pregnant you are or did I misunderstand what you meant? If they do, that is awesome! My last 4 pregnancies were all birth control babies. I wish you a H&H 9 months!

My husband is English so you can use all your UK slang on me and I should be able to follow along. ;-)
