50 Shades of Grey baby boom?

Ok, I'm going to come out and admit that even though this baby was a complete shocker and we were using condoms and they failed us, this accident happened about 1-2 months after I read the 50 shades of grey trilogy. I think we were definitely having more sex during this time. So can I blame 50 shades for my pregnancy? I also blame my early 30's for this baby. I have noticed that since I turned 30 sex has been a lot better. I just watched a talkshow on this subject so it got me thinking... Abbie

Haha!  While I don't think it played a part in conceiving I did read the first 2 books in the trilogy before conception.  I still have to pick up book three.

Oh my Lisa, you need to check it out. The books are written by E L James. The first one is called Fifty Shades of Grey. Then Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. They are very good! Hope you enjoy.

The books are about palatable S&M.  My friend loved them, I still can't get through the first one - it bores me!  (I have a great imagination on my own and I don't find the book sexy.  The main character referring to her inner goodness constantly - ugh. )  Guys I know love it because their wives enjoyed the books and they reaped the benefits.   I find it interesting that stores were running out of a certain kind of rope due to the book - geez ladies who all bought the same rope you don't need to buy the EXACT rope go out on a limb or try something different!  But apparently Im the minorty here many ladies like the triology.

I wasn't reading the book but I wonder. 3 of us from my church group are due in March, my husband's cousin 2 days before me and my really good friend from high school is due 2 days after me.
