Have you made the big announcement? If so, how did you do it? If not, when and how do you plan to share the news?

Need a few creative ideas?

So far the only people that know are my DH and my best friend.  Still trying to figure out a fun way to announce to everyone else!

Only my husband and three friends know. Our families do not. I'm 39, so we want to wait and make sure everything is good. Plus, our parents don't live near us so we could potentially save the news until we can also announce the gender in some cute way - maybe even at Christmastime. :-) No one is expecting us to have another one (we have 4), so it'll be fun to shock them!

No, only DH and a friend of mine who is watching DD for me today so I can go to the doctor know.  My mom is visiting in 2 weeks so I'll tell her then, not quite sure how I'll tell my dad.

My MIL is a PITA everytime someone gets pregnant and makes it all about herself so she's not finding out until the second trimester after she has visited.  I told my DH that if he tells her before her visit then I'm leaving town and he can deal with her and DD by himself.  I'm a raging witch this time around.

Only to my parents so far! I had my sons tell them they had a surprise and then they announced they were going to be big brothers. It was so cute! The funny thing is, my older son, who's 4, then immediately whispered in my ear, "now you tell her you're having a baby." I guess he didn't think they were gonna make the connection!?! Some friends already know we were talking about having a 3rd, so we probably won't keep it secret until the end of the 1st trimester. And my neighbor is pregnant and only about 4 weeks ahead of me; she told me the day she got her BFP! So, I will probably share with her soon so we can celebrate and commiserate together!
