First ear infection

The runny nose Maxwell had turned into a low fever yesterday so I brought him in and sure enough he has an ear infection just starting.  Thankfully we caught it early and isn't too bad but it stinks that he's only 3 mo and has his first ear infection.

Evidently my estimates on his size in the roll call were wrong.  He weighed in at 15 lb 4 oz and 24.5 in long...a very rolly little boy!  It's amazing how differently he is growing compared to the older two.  ODD was a long skinny baby all the way through...at 4 mo she was 24.75" and only 12 lb 5 oz.  ODS was huge (I thought) compared to DD being 24.5" and 13 lb 14 oz at 4 mo old.  What a difference!

Too bad for the little guy :smileysad: I hate it when they get sick when they are so small. Lol about his stats, that is the same as my pudgy fellow :smileyhappy:

Thanks ladies.  After about 2 doses of the meds I could tell he was feeling better.  The runny nose is not very bad anymore and his fever has been gone for a couple days.
