I havent introduced myself yet either, but I had some kinda heavy spotting yesterday morning, Im a little over 5 weeks and the dr told me to basically go to bed and hope. That that was all you could do this early. I stayed on the couch all day yesterday and the spotting turned brown and has basically stopped today. Good luck!! I hope everything turns out ok for you!!

Well, my bleeding only happened that one time when I went to the bathroom, and then it stopped.

Hi and congrats on your pregnancy. If you were having a miscarriage you HPT would be negative as your HCG level drops very quickly (I had a misscarriage between my Daughters). Ill keep you in my prayers and I hope everything is ok. Keeo us post

Oh Norma, that makes me feel so much better! I took another test this morning, and it was still positive, 2 days after the bleeding. I also called my OB, and they said it was probably implantation bleeding b/c it just happened that once, and wasn't bright red.

Just wanted to let you know that I will not be joining the May Expecting club. Many years ago I had several m/c all between 5-6 weeks. Whatever was wrong then is still wrong now and last Tuesday my beta had dropped to 61. I thought with donor embryos that everything would be okay, but I was wrong. We are going to do a bunch of testing to see if they can figure out the problem, but not sure if we will try again or not. I wanted to wish you tons of luck for a happy and healthy 9 months. Unfortunately, that's not true. Hcg can take a long time to leave the body. However, bleeding isn't always the end. Did you figure it out?

Oh and I'm new. Had a miscarriage in july, now due may 7! Pretty nervous!

Yup, looks like it was just implantation bleeding. I took another test on Wednesday morning, and the positive line showed up before the control line was even there, so my Hcg is definitely continuing to rise. Haven't had another drop of blood since that one time, so I think I'm good for now!

Yay!! :) that's awesome you tested positive so quickly! I was freaking out because measured barely over for weeks with the u/s tuesday and I tested positive august 25! I thought for sure something was wrong but my ob made the numbers fit and I should be okay! We will see in a week or two. My hcg was 15000 yesterday though!

Looks like everything is fine now, but I wanted to chime in anyway. With my 2nd, I bled through my pants and down my leg. Then 3-4 other times in the pregnancy I had light bleeding after that. I thought for sure something was wrong, but I have a healthy 21 month old!
