pap smear while pregnant?

Hey everyone, sorry have not did a formal intro yet, but I scheduled my first appt for Oct. 24th and I am due for a pap smear as well, has anyone else had a pap while pregnant? I cant remember if i did with my first or not, but think I am freaking out over it causing me to miscarry or something :( so wondering if i should ask to

My thoughts exactly, so I may call tomorrow and ask and see about scheduling for an earlier appt. I had already had that day scheduled for my pap prior to finding out being pregnant and when i called to scheduled my first prenatal visit, they said i could do it all at that same appt and would just put the nature of the visit was different. I don't want to be stressing over what may or may not happen for the next month if I do get the pap, so I will call and ask if we can hold off on the pap until after the baby because I have had them regularly every year and if something was abnormal i wouldnt get anything done about it while pregnant.
I had a pap with my first around 8 weeks.
I think I had one at my first appt when pregnant with DD also, so I will do it, I think I was just overly worrying about it due to the past miscarriage. Thanks for all of your replies ladies, did help alot.
I am so mad that I agreed to have one done after my first appointment.
