AF is now two days late so i took the HPT and got a very faint negative. you think the test was just invalid or it's still too early to tell? i don't know what to think. i might be able to get to the store tomorrow and get another test. at this point i don't really want to worry DH because he's already stressed about taking DS1 on a cubscout canoe trip this weekend. and i had hoped to find some cute way to break the news to him.

it's a cheepo test with the two windows one is just supposed to have a line in it to tell you that it's working the other is supposed to have a + or -. the line to say it's working was there but the - in the other window is real faint. instructions say if there's nothing in the +/- window it could be an invalid test.

yeah it was first thing in the morning but AF still hasn't made an apperance. I'm going to try to get a different test tomorrow, spring for a better brand and then take it first thing in the morning on saturday that will be 4-5 days late. *sigh* i know it's a common theme around here but i hate waiting.
Like Dawn said... Any news yet?! Do you have a normal 28 day cycle? Most HPT say they are 95% effective the day after your missed AF but if you are like me (I have a 23 day cycle) your body might not be producing enough hormones for the test to read positive. I finally got a BFP a week after my AF should have come! I feel ya lady, I hate the wait too! FX for you though!
