Will you breastfeed your baby or bottlefeed?

Will you pump milk or formula feed?

I plan on bottle feeding this little one from day one. I exclusively breastfed DD1 for 14 months, she would take no substitution. When I got pg with DD2 only 6 months after DD1 was born I had a terrible time with extremely sensitive nipples and the task of bf DD1. I continued to bf DD1 but vowed never to do that again (just an overall bad experience for me). Once I had DD2 she was exclusively bottle fed and I enjoyed every minute of it. I did the same with DD3 and will do the same here, plus now that DH is the stay-at-home parent this arrangement works great for us! More power to those who can stick with it, it's just not for me :)

I plan to BF this baby for the first year. I BF DS for the first year and had another 4 months worth of frozen EBM that I gave him in a sippy cup until he was 16 months!

My mother and DH are both telling me I should exclusively BF, though I'm still on the fence. I don't know how I feel about BF for the entire first year, mainly because I don't want to feel tied to the baby for the sake of frequent feedings. DH is very traditional and we've been clashing on a lot of subjects, including this one.

Tied to the baby? That's kind of your job, isnt it? :)

I'm not saying I'm trying to ditch the baby! LOL I'm going back to work (1/2 an hour from where I live) shortly after I give birth and I know people who supplement with formula while they're working.

I'm a breastfeeder, and pumper (but I kind of HATE the pump).
