Will you breastfeed your baby or bottlefeed?

Will you pump milk or formula feed?

I'm a breastfeeder, straight from the tap lol.
I practice child led weaning... DS weaned at 25 months, I was 5 months pregnant with DD.
DD is now 18 months old and still going strong! I actually hope to tandem nurse... but that will be up to her!

I breastfed DS for a year. He goes to daycare at my work (I'm a teacher) and was able to feed him myself during the day. Would love the same situation with #2 but not sure if it will work out the same. But I will definitely breastfeed if at all possible, just may have to pump this time.

When i was 20 years old i had a breast reduction (big breast runs on my mom's family) at the time the dr told i wouldnt have any problem breast feeding. Well he lied to me. I dont produce much milk but believe me my daughters got every drop i got but still had to suplement with formula. With this baby i will do the same. I would love to exclusivily breastfeed my baby but there is no way i can produce enough milk :(

Would you ever consider donor milk? you can look up "Human Milk for Human Babies" on facebook... they seem to have a page for every state/province.

Since I had a double mastectomy, I will be bottle feeding formula.

Thank you Heather (blessedmom0508) for the siggy!

My first two were both breastfed for as long as I could keep up while pumping at work, which was 4 mo with #1 and 6 mo with #2. With #1 I was at a factory and I didn't know my rights since I was young so my supply quickly dwindled. #2 I was at a better company but my supply still dwindled but now I am only working part time so hopefully I will be able to go the full year with this one!

I'll be BF again this time around :) With DS #1 I BF for two months then pumped and supplemented with formula for another 6months. With DS #2 I BF exclusively till he was 1yr, I plan to go at least that long with #3

I am definitely planning to breastfeed, and I hope it goes as well as it did with DD. We stopped when she was between 17-18 months. I pumped some so she could take a couple bottles while I work (I work from home two days/week and my in-laws watch DD) and then fed her a couple times while working, too. I'll probably do the same this time around, assuming it works out again - mostly breastfeed directly, but also pump so I can have a little bit of freedom and not feel like I always have to rush home after 2 hours if I want to get out.
