Cloth or Disposable? What's Your Plan?

I would love to try cloth diapering! I've researched it a bit and I'd totally be willing to use them. I just hate that they cost so much up front. BUT my husband is not on board with it, he's stuck on thinking it's like the old days where it's a piece of cloth held together with a safety pin, super messy and gross to wash...when it's really nothing like that now days! But it is what it is, we'll be using disposables because I don't think kcloth will work with only one parent on board! With our first son we LOVED Pampers, so that is what we'll be using with this baby, unless for some reason they just don't work with this one.
