1st ultrasound result

I don't get to go in for an ultrasound until 8 weeks, but with my DD my ultrasound was at 7 weeks and I could see the sweetest little baby and her heartbeat :)) I even got to hear the heartbeat :) since you will only be 6 weeks at that point I'm not sure if the heart will have started beating or not. Some books say the heart starts beating at 6 weeks and some say 7. I can't wait to hear back from you on how your appointment went!!! SO exciting. I have to wait until march 23.

And that is SUCH a long wait until 20 weeks. I couldn't even imagine!! I guess if all is well though, an ultrasound is really unnecessary.

I was seeing an RE for my pgs for my kids, so I got earlier u/s. I had u/s at 6w exactly for both and was able to see and hear the hb both times then, but I have heard that that is not always the case. I think my ob won't do an u/s until 8w, but I'm calling tomorrow so we'll see. Just waiting until 8w will be hard for me.

I can't imagine waiting until 20w.
