Heather...lol. My highschool sweetheart (father of DS some 7 years later) dated a girl named Heather in highschool when we were momentarily split apart...and she was ugly lol.

Luca. No negative associations with it. It was just taken by people we knew before we had a chance to use it. (They didn't know at the time that it was our choice for a boy name.) Now we need to choose something else. I always have a difficult time choosing boys' names.

I'm a teacher, so for me the no-name list is a combination of names that are super-popular amongst the kids I work with, and names of kids with severe behavior problems that I'd rather not associate with my child. Some of the super-popular names near me that I wouldn't use are Emily, Ava/Eva, Ruby, Sophie/Sophia, Lily, Jack/John, Aidan, Griffin, and Matthew. And I once worked with a kid named Seth who would pretend to stab himself, curse up a storm, and suck his thumb and curl up under his desk. So no Seth for my child.
