Sure, having a baby changes things: You survive on less sleep. You never knew you could take so many pictures of a being that does so little. And man, does your wallet take a beating. In fact, one recent study from the U.K. reported that moms there spend more than $7,000 on all things baby before their tot turns one. Ouch.

But if you're smart about it, there are a ton of easy ways to shave hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars off of your baby budget. Here’s how:0/6-b-290042

We are also trying to sell a house from a few hours away. Ugh. I feel you about the drama. The only thing I have indulged in thusfar is starting to beef my cloth diaper stash up. I don't need much if it's a girl. If it's a boy, I still don't need much outside of clothing.

Not yet, although I want to start researching double strollers. My youngest turns 3 right before the baby is due, but I know there will be times we are out and she won't want or need to walk. I have never owned a double stroller before though so this is new to me! If I have another girl, I wont need much, but if I have a boy, I will need clothes mostly.

I bought a crib in my last pregnancy that's still in the box, so that purchase is out of the way.
