We ended up getting this one : http://www.safety1st.com/usa/eng/Products/Travel/Car-Seats/Infant-Car-Seats/Details/2411-22395AIR-onBoard35-Air-SE-Infant-Car-Seat

What did you guys choose? I have to admit, I bought it because of the video I watched of the product. I cried the whole way through, and ordered it. Stupid hormones :smileyvery-happy: But I do really like it, so I guess my hormones didn't get the best of me afterall :smileyhappy:

We got the Chicco Keyfit 30. It has great safety stats and recommendations from other moms. It's also one of the best ones I found for smaller cars. It will be in my Focus until I'm able to upgrade to a larger vehicle.

The Chicco is what I planned on buying :smileyhappy: I'm glad we have a mini van, or I would have been out of luck with the Safety 1st. The thing is huge!

I went with a Graco Sungride. I've had one for all three of my kids. Sticking with what I know, I guess!

We got the Gracco Snugride. We only got the 22 since we are planning on RF until 2 years old so need to get a convertable carseat anyway. The reason we got the infant car seat instead of going right for the convertable is to use in the first 6months- year when the baby would be harder to take out of the car seat.

I bought a Evenflo Embrac 35 Infant Car Seat. It was on a good sale (+/-120) and it felt much better, lighter, and easier to use than any other seats in my price range. As a bonus it is also good to 35 lbs (though we will probably switch to a convertible seat around 6 months), side impact tested, has adjustable recline (great for a nb), and the interior was a nicely padded comfortable fabric.
Proud Mom to Annika (4), Jamie (3), and 4 angels. Anxiously awaiting Baby #3!

I got the Chicco Key Fit 30, must say I fell in love with the pattern first, then read the reviews and stuff on safety and it was SOLD! lol

That's so cute! I love the designs of the Chicco's. This is the one we almost bought....

Wow... that looks cushy! I hate having a seat that feels like hard plastic with cloth over the top... can't be comfy, and that's what all of my other seats were like. Looks like you'll have a happy baby, lol!

We got the Chicco Keyfit 30 travel system as well. I cant find a link to show what it looks like, but it is a grey/gunmetal color pattern. We really like it. After readying so many reviews and reading about how safe they are.... I HAD to have it! I also love the stroller! It is so smooth to push around. My husband is very tall, and he said he doesnt feel uncomfortable, like he has to stoop over to push it, which is DEF a good thing.
