Our oldest daughter First Communion and party is May 12th. All of our family from both sides, friends etc will be here, I wi visibly be showing as I already am starting too. So, we will let them know that day. I'll be about 13 weeks. Both sets of parents, and siblings know as well as a few friends.

My mom already knows, but my mom is the admin. at the lab where I get my blood work done (I also have a thyroid disorder and my endo. has my thyroid levels checked every 6 - 8 weeks during pregnancy) so I obviously had to tell her or she'd figure it out, especially when I got my Hcg testing done.

Last time around, we waited until 17 weeks to announce, which worked out. This time around, I'm not sure. Definitely will wait until after the first trimester, just for peace of mind. I'll probably have to spread the news at work soon after that though, depending on how much I'm showing and because of work restrictions. So I guess we'll see how big I am in another month or so!

I'm thinking mother's day for our mothers (who will tell all the families) and mid June for work.

Since SO took this pregnancy so hard, I'm giving him until I'm 8 weeks to decide when to tell, than I'm spilling it.

We have told our girls, siblings, parents, and quite a few close friends. My DH has been the blabber mouth. He is pretty excited:)

Wow, you are a strong lady to wait that long! We told our kids last night because A) my kids are older and B) I was so sick I need some help from them! I'm afraid the cat is out of the bag now, my girls can't keep a secret if their lives depended on it! We'll probably officially announce at Easter- I'll be almost 9 weeks then.

I've been so sick that we had to already tell some people. I've basically been just telling people as needed. We've seen the heartbeat now, so I'm less worried about letting people know anyway. So, it's been a gradual process for us in announcing our news.

Against my better judgement - the cat is out of the bag and has been for a couple of weeks. It is a long complicated story but essentially dh is no fun to live with when he has to keep it a secret and with 4 miscarriages in the past the announcement was made with that qualifier and a request for prayers and positive thoughts.
Proud Mom to Annika (4), Jamie (3), and 4 angels. Anxiously awaiting Baby #3!
