m/c imminent

I began spotting on Friday night and saw my OB this morning. Unfortunately, there was no more heartbeat. Looks like the embryo stopped growing at 7 weeks 3 days - so my body reacted right away when something went wrong. Dr. was very reassuring and supportive of us and says that there is nothing we did or didn't do to cause this to happen, and that we have just as much chance as anyone else of having a healthy pregnancy next time. We are sad, but realize that this is nature's way of assuring us a healthy pregnancy and helping us to avoid heartbreak later if we continued with a pregnancy that wasn't destined to be healthy and viable.
