I think you need to call your doctor right away. Brown blood means old blood, but you've said its gotten heavier. From what I've been told, you shouldn't pass any clots at all.
Try not to worry. Just call your doctor so you can be sure what's going on!!!

I had my ultrasound Wednesday and they said it looked like i was at about 5 weeks. but at 1 today i started having cramps and at 4:30 i lost the baby. it was so teeny and still in the sac. i called the dr and they just ask me what happened and said theres nothing they can do. and that ill have another ultrasound the 16th to make sure everything is out

So sorry. I just found out that I too am miscarrying, though I haven't passed the embryo out yet. I am hoping mine will be quick too. Wishing you all the best.
