This morning when I got up to use the bathroom I had a lot of brown mucusy discharge. It has stopped now that the day has gone on. Did anyone else have this?? I swear this pregnancy is completely opposite of my DD!! I am just so nervous. Should I call the dr about it?

I haven't had any but it could be implantation bleeding. Brown means old blood so it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Take care and try to relax. Sbv being sent your way.

Thanks ladies. I just wish I could fast forward to the second trimester. I have been so nervous this go round. I have not had any more spotting thank goodness so I guess that's a good sign right?

As long as the sporting is brown, you're okay. Bright red bleeding is bad.

I wish I saw this earlier! I had brown discharge on Monday at 5 weeks and 3 days, so I called my doc. They said that if it wasn't accompanied by cramping then it sounds promising, so they sent me to draw blood and get my HCG numbers. As long as they were increasing then it is a good indicator that the pregnancy is progressing... My HCG numbers were 7245 on Monday, today they were over 17,000!!!! I was obsessive over the discharge, and everwhere I read is that it is normally (in most cases) simply normal... I hope it went away for you!
