HCG levels not quite doubled?

On tuesday Feb 20th I went to the ER for stabbing pains on my right side. They took my HCG levels and they were at 96 (this was almost 10pm) I was ordered to go again in 24 hours to check my levels. So I was sent thursday afternoon and my numbers came back today as 185. Is that a good number? I am 5 weeks today (was still 4 weeks at both draws). Thoughts?

UPDATE: Okay so went back to ER for the stabbing pain. They took more blood and I am at HCG 1623. The pain doesn't look like its coming from the pregnancy. Dr told me my numbers are great but the baby was too small to see on ultrasound :smileysad: but that all my bloodwork came back good. I am to hydrate relax and go back tomorrow if the pain continues. :-) Thanks for your support ladies. It means the world to me!!!!

Your numbers look good to me since they say they should double every 48 hours and you had your blood about 36 hours later. My doctor will not even draw blood after 48 hours she likes to wait at least 72. I would not worry about it at all. I would go to your normal doctor to have the blood drawn again tomorrow if you are really worried.
I don't think it has to definitely double, and I would think if it's close it's good. Hopefully one of the other girls with some experience on this can help! KUP!
