A little worried...baby measuring small

So, at my ultrasound yesterday, the baby measured 7w6d.

Hi! I just wanted to pop-in since I had this happen. :) It's normal for babies to vary in size. My baby was off by 6 days then given 3 back then again moved back. LOL Even at my big scan she was showing smaller. My OBGYN doesn't move your date though unless it's a week or more difference.
And just for reference, my baby was 8lbs 12oz at birth (so not so small for those 6 days!) and just turned 10 months on Tuesday and is 22lbs and 29" long, growing perfectly. :)
If at some point your doctor feels the baby isn't growing at the right rate, s/he'll tell you!

Three possible contributing factors: 1) could be a late implantation.

It may depend on what kind of ultrasound technology they are using. I remember reading that one is more accurate than the other, but I can't find the source now. I can't remember whether it was transvag or the old school full bladder ultrasound that was more accurate. I think it was transvag that could sometimes lead technicians to inaccurate measurements. I wouldn't worry too much though so long as it's not a huge difference in days. Even when my daughter was born, the nurses were getting measurements wrong and it's much easier to measure a baby who's not in utero. ;0) You have to remember user error has some contribution to it, and there's always some margin of error.

just thought you might like to know that my DR mentioned to me today that on ultrasound there is a 5 day error for measurements.
