First OB Appointment!

I had my first OB appointment and second U/S today ( I got a surprise BFP the day of my R/E consultation for infertility so my R/E did the first U/S at 6 weeks). The baby is measuring at 8 weeks 6 days and the little heartbeat was so precious! We did not get to hear the heartbeat today since the Doppler on my OB's machine is not that sensitive (old machine I guess). I also had lots of blood tests and a pap smear. She gave me lots of magazines, the hospital information, and lots of little goodies like nursing pads, nursing bands, a diaper, and prenatal vitamin samples. She also prescribed an anti-nausea medicine because vomiting 4 times a day and having to lay down most of the day is apparently terrible. I have my next appointment in 4 weeks,which seems like forever.
