Yesterday I felt that way. Starving at the same time. My saving grace has been keeping freshly sliced lemons nearby to sniff. And strong mint chapstick (Mojito flavor by escents.) i'm just sipping water throughout the day instead of gulping it like I had been the past several weeks. It also seems the gingerale and jello made me feel worse later, so I only have those if I can't bear anything else. Fresh cool air seems to help too.

Anyone have any suggestions for managing m/s while at work? I'm not s pretty puker ... my eyes get all red, my face gets splotchy, etc., and I'm in a retail situation where I need to be presentable & helpful. No food or drink allowed on the sales floor. And I work in a candle store with heavy fragrances. I've been sucking on mints & smelling the mint or lemon candles and that helps sometimes.

Court - wow, what a time to work in a candle store. I can't imagine. I am quite queasy this morning but haven't puked yet. I took some medicine at 9 AM that I have to take and I didn't want to throw it up. I am living on low calorie gatorade this morning. I love the grape flavor. I have only been able to eat 2 small bites of a poppyseed muffin. My hubby did "research" and says that ginger helps nausea. The problem is I don't like ginger. He bought ginger cookies and I was only able to take one bite. Yuck!

I know, right?

I don't like ginger snap cookies either, but my friend brought me some ginger ale, thankfully. :) it is helping.

I threw up putting a frozen Lean Cuisine in the microwave. This is not a good day.

No, there's no other department I can switch to. I'm the manager, and I'm usually there by myself for 4, 5, 6+ hours a day until one of the assistants comes in (when I open).

I've done the breathmints, baby wipes are a VERY good idea. :) Thanks for the suggestion.
