Maybe baby just had a growth spurt and the fluid needs to catch up? I'm not Googling to find out. :-P However, gathering from most posts I read on forums, doctors are more likely to scare you to death about abnormalities than they are to downplay them. So, I think it's safe to assume that your perceived risk is much higher than the actual risk. Don't forget all the odds many of us have already beaten by getting this far along.

I think it's time you give that DD some caviar nails while you resist Google. ;-)

I think those numbers are more for a full-term pregnancy. Fluid levels are lower right now, because baby has smaller kidneys and everything.

But stay off google!! Even the common cold is a death wish on there! LOL

Take it easy momma. Take deep breaths and please try not to stress. I really need to stay off the internet also. We can do this together! Praying for you and your baby. If you ever need to talk privately send me a private message. ((hugs))

I ha low fluid with my son (near the end) and it takes a while to measure all the pockets. Also, it is subjective to a certain extent--I had 2 different techs measure 2 different numbers during 1 u/s! I've read that they will sometimes try an IV to get more fluid into you, hoping it will go to your uterus---maybe this is an option?
