Low blood pressure, how low is too low?

What is the lowest your blood pressure has ever been during preg.? Mine was 92/52 today when I checked it at the store. I know that machine is pretty accurate because I've checked it there right after a Dr. appt. before to compare. I know I'm always low and that its not usually something they worry about but there's got to be a point when low is too low. Any ideas? I wonder what they would do if it got too low? Give me a salt lick? LOL

I wonder this same thing often. I've always had low blood pressure too. Mine is normaly like 102/60, but mines been as low as yours before too. I often get the spots of light and everything goes black when I get up, and I get light headed often. I think it's because I have low bp.

Those seem like really low numbers to me.  I'm typically just under (withing 5-10 points) of 120/80.  The lowest I've ever been was about 110/60.  That was the other night when I was in the hospital for gallstones, and the pain relief finally kicked in, and I'd been laying there drugged with my eyes closed for about 20 minutes.  But I think all blood pressure issues depend on symptoms.  If you are dizzy, or having trouble with vision, or something, it's probably something to be addressed.  But if you're otherwise healthy and don't have any problems, maybe your body just functions well at a low number.  I'd be more concerned if you were seeing irregular drops or spikes.

Maybe! I had low BP with my other DD, too. Well, I've always had low BP actually. The nurses always tell me how good my bp is when it's right around the 100 mark. I don't know if the light headed-ness has anything to do with it or not, because when I was preg with my 1st DD, I got light headed and dizzy spells while walking or standing up. I haven't had that at all with this one, and my bp is the same.

Prior to pregnancy and at the beginning of this pregnancy my blood pressure was controlled with BP pills. I have been completely off the pills for about 3 months and the other day my blood pressure was the lowest at 104/64. I guess the pregnancy (so far) is doing good things for my blood pressure. Knock on wood.....

I would check with your doctor to see what he/she things about your low BP.

I think it's fine. They always have trouble even registering my bottom number, but it's always been like that. As a nurse, DH is always thrilled to hear my numbers. Last time was 110/58 after working all day.
