Starting to efface

Looks like I'll joing the bed rest group soon. At my 30 week appt, my Dr said I was 50% effaced, a -1 station, but hadn't started to dilate yet. With all the contractions and pressure I've had since then, I'm expecting some more change at my next appt and that he'll take me off work again. At least it's happening slower than with my son!

I agree, sounds like you're headed for bedrest. Although I've known a few woman that dilated to 2 or 3 early and then were stuck there for over a month. I hope things slow down, 30 weeks is too early!

Hopefully bedrest will slow down your progression even thought it probably isn't fun.
