Are you eagerly awaiting your first prenatal appointment? Wondering what to expect when you go in?

When is your first appointment? My doctor always made me wait until I was 10-12 weeks along and the wait killed me! How about you? When do you go in for your first appointment?

@Socal77 - my story sounds just like yours! Got BFP on Saturday and am eagerly awaiting initial appt Feb 14 for confirmation test and appt setting. Had been trying for about 17 months for #2 after conceiving DD (who's 5) in only a few months. Wishing everyone good luck!!!

Had my first appt yesterday - got a call today that bloodwork levels were great
I'm over the moon! Next appt is Feb 25 for first ultrasound.
I just got my BFP on Sunday, so my EDD is October 28. :) My first appointment is not until March 20, because my OB wants me to be at least 8 weeks. We had been trying for about 3 months. DD is 2, and she will turn 3 on October 12, so right before our new baby is born! We are so excited for #2, and DH is really hoping for a boy this time around. :)

I had 2 m/c's before my daughter and the pregnancy with her was stressful for the first trimester so my doc had me come in for an early u/s when I was 5 weeks 4 days. We got to see the beautiful little heartbeat and I feel alot better. My first official appointment is Feb 28th. Can't wait to see my little one again and confirm everything is going well!

My prenatal intake appt is 3/4/13 I will 6 weeks along by then but I won't see my acutal midwife until maybe the last week of March I think I can hold off until then.
