I've been on twice-weekly NSTs for about 5 weeks now and have had periodic U/S's -- checking for everything from IUGR to cord-blood flow issues. Today was THE day where they did the final u/s to tell me what was going on. Looked for fluid levels, size of baby, etc. And of course, the NST. My c/s is scheduled for next Thursday 9/27, but if I failed any of the tests today, I was going to be moving everything up to this week.
I don't want to move anything up - so I did everything I possibly could this morning to prepare myself. The more prepared I am, the less likely anything was going to change, right? So I cleaned my house, laundered all of our clothes/sheets, packed my hospital bag, shaved, etc. And it worked!!
Baby's abdomen is still small for gestational age, but it's growing. Fluid levels are awesome and I passed the NST. No change to our c/s date -- I have 9 more days. I want every minute -- I like being pregnant and I'm still not ready to introduce the 4th baby into our already-crazy household. ;o)
Plus, we STILL need a name!!!!
So we're still on the waiting list.....green team too. I'm making the most of my next 9 days. I see a pedicure in my near future!
