Are you eagerly awaiting your first prenatal appointment? Wondering what to expect when you go in?

When is your first appointment? My doctor always made me wait until I was 10-12 weeks along and the wait killed me! How about you? When do you go in for your first appointment?

My first appt is Jan 14, I wont even be 6 weeks yet, but I accidentally told the nurse my last AF was Nov so she thinks I am 4 weeks further than I am. I dont know when I will have time to reschedule the appt with school starting so I am just going to stick to that.

Not until the 30th! I hate having to wait so long but I'm sure the time will go by faster then I expect.

I will be seeing my family doctor on wednesday the 16th!( I will be 5 and a half weeks then) assuming I will just be getting a sheet of paper to go and get the hcg blood test done at the hospital...  I wont see my actual obgyn until Im 12 weeks along...

I've already had two actually. OB wanted to see me ASAP as I'm a high risk for m/c. Had ultrasounds at 5 and 6 weeks, and another set for 9 weeks on the 29th.

My first appointment is on the 31. I always hate the intake appointment. It seems like all you do is answer questions. I am just hoping that they schedule a real appointment soon after this one so we can get down to business. :)
