Well, I found out on St.Patrick's day that I am pregnant for the 5th time (4th this year alone). This is our oops, because weren't trying and weren't expecting to get pregnant so fast after the last miscarriage. I'm honestly feeling pretty good this time, Im nauseous, my breasts hurt, I'm frequently urinating. I've already had the boodwork done on base, which was positive and I have my first ultrasound on April 6th, to date the pregnancy (since I didn't have a lmp after the miscarriage) and to make sure its all in the right place! yay!!! :D

Hi, new to this board. I saw your previous posts and had a question. I just had an ectopic loss on Patty's Day weekend (needed surgery to remove my left tube last Saturday). Did they tell you to wait before trying after your ectopic or previous miscarriages? I am so unsure of what to do. I want so badly to try again but I was given the metho shot and I read you have to wait 2 months before TTC.

I had the surgery, lost my left tube, ovary & the pregnancy, and was told to wait 2-3 cycles before trying again. They never said to wait after my first m/c. and nothing was said after the 2nd

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope your recovery is going ok. The "wait time" varies from doctor to doctor, but a good general rule is that you should have one complete cycle before you ttc. That would mean 2 AF's and you'd be able to ttc after your 2nd AF was done. Usually that's a 2-3 month wait, and your cycles would be re-established nicely, plus if you did get pg you'd know when because you'd have had AF. I know the waiting part is a killer...I hated it when I lost my babies too. {{{HUGS}}}
