Pregnant and scared

Hi all, just found out i'm pregnant again, had an ectopic in my previous pregnancy, just a bit panicky!!
My ectopic was in August 2011, had severe pain but no blood loss at 5 weeks 5 days, went to ER took some bloods but was told not to worry, your supposed to have pain pregnancy and was sent away!
Next day rang hospital and they said my hcg levels were high enough for an early pregnancy scan, booked for the day after was 6 weeks exactly, my stomach had bloated and the pain was unbearable (but had been that way for 2 days!) when they did scan they said there was nothing in uterus but where my left tube should have been there was a black mass, I was actually bleeding internally and had been for two days! My tube had ruptured! I was then taken to a dr who said calmly that my blood pressure would be checked regularly and they would get me into surgery as soon as possible! Very scary, my left tube was removed and I was sent away!
Was given the all clear to start trying back in jan and then last week started to FEEL pregnant, tired, sore breasts etc, did a test and said pregnant! Went to dr and she was very positive, seeing midwife next thurs, however last two days having a dull ache on my right side, sometimes on left but more on right, I'm only 4 weeks, I'm really worried it could be happening again, I want to be excited but I don't want to in case it happens again, I was only 6 weeks when it happened last time so fairly early compared to most!
Is it normal to have abdominal pain on pregnancy after ectopic or should I get back into drs!
Such a confusing time, I wasn't given any counselling or any advice after ectopic, I had to do all the searching and appointment making! Fingers crossed, dr said no point doing blood test at moment and that they'll hopefully get me in at about 6 weeks for scan but obviously my tube ruptured before the 6 weeks!
Any advice would be great

Thanks xxxx

{{{HUGS}}} It's scary to be pregnant after you've had an ectopic pregnancy.

Thank you, I'm going to make an appointment with my dr today and demand a blood test, at least I'll know if the hcg is in the normal range like you said, I want to be positive but it's hard! Thank you again and I'll keep you updated xx

Hey just to let you know, had blood tests fri and my result was 1318, then had blood tests sun and it had more than doubled to 2767!! So yesterday went in for an early scan and they could see the embryotic sac in the right place, in the uterus!! So so happy, obviously they couldn't see anything inside as it's still very small, going back in next week for anothe scan just to check everything's ok and hopefully they will be able to see something inside!! Again fingers crossed, I know it's still very early days, I'm just happy it's in the right place!!
They think the pain may be a little cyst on my ovaries, the dr said it may well disperse on its own!! I'm so glad I took your advice and got all the checks done, just for piece of mind!
Thanks all for your support
