Thanks for the support. Besides the fact that my RE was a bit odd (he kept talking as if he were the patient), things went really well. I am pleased with him, and he gave us some great ideas.

#1 I am going to stop Clomid after this cycle and take a 3-month break. Thank God! It's making me nuts and I am having all sorts of side effects this time. Ughhhh! The RE thought that maybe the clomid had done its job and jumpstarted my ovaries. I should have a normal cycle and lots of ewcm, so he says.

#2 I am going in for an HSG on Monday. I am nervous but he wants to see what's inside. I hope that gives me a little boost in fertility.

#3 I just missed having a mess of bloodwork done since today is CD4. But, next cycle I will have FSH, TSH, PRL and all that mess checked out.

#4 DH is having the usual sample. Warning - TMI ahead -- It's funny because we live too far from the office where they do the tests so he will have to give a sample in the car. HAHAHA!

#5 Next step after all those tests and such is IUI if I am not pg in the next two or three months.

Hi Susan - Sounds like you had a fantastic appt. I love RE's. After seeing an OB, they look and sound like gods. I saw an OB before I had my dd, and we had the whole thing planned out as well,what we will be doing in 3 months, 6 months, etc. However, he sent me for an HSG, and I got pg with my dd that cycle. I hope the same happens to you. My advice about HSG - take 4 advils before hand.

PS LOL about the car. You will feel like a teenager again. Don't they have any other facilities for such things? ;)

I had the HSG in November - let me know if you have any questions. It wasn't as bad as I had feared but it is uncomfortable to say the least. Luckily it is quick and very helpful I thought.

As for everything else - sounds like a great plan! I am not crazy about my RE as a person - he's a little strange too - but he's a fantastic doctor and they are so helpful. You are on the right track!!

Susan it sounds like you had a great RE appt. WHat a great plan he has. It sounds like you will find out a lot of great info in the next month or two. Those tests should give you some clarity as to what is happening with your body. I hope that you don't even need the IUIs bc you get a BFP before that!

I am so glad for you that your appt went well.
