2 cycles are completed and I'm entering to the 3rd cycle. We will ttc in July or August in order to have sufficient time to prepare and gain enough nutrition.
My Centrum A-Z vitamin and mineral is running out, and I'm planning to switch to pre-pregnancy or folic acid pills/tablets. Pharmist A recommended Wyeth Materna which contains 1mg of folic acid plus other vitamins. Then I went to another drug store just to compare another type, pharmist B suggested Lanes Preconceive tablet which is a folic acid table of 0.4mg. I'm confused that:
1. How much folic acid should a pre-pregnancy woman take per day?
2. The 2nd one which named "Lanes Preconceive tablet" sounds more appropriate to my current needs. It is a 0.4mg folic acid tablet. Any difference compare to GNC folic acid (also 0.4mg).
3. If 0.4mg folic acid is enough for a pre-pregnancy woman, Centrum A-Z contains 0.4mg folic acid, but also
