U/S and lab results!!

Well, baby is in the right spot!! I'm measuring 5 weeks, they did not see a fetal pole, but saw the sac and yolk..my numbers have only gone up to 4570 from 2711..I was nervous about that, but my doctor said it was with-in normal limits and not to worry, and she didn't seem worried about not seeing the fetal pole...I'll go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound..I'm so relieved for it not to be ectopic, but I'm still finding it hard to relax..I've had a lot of "sensations" through my abdomen, I don't want to call it cramping or pain, I'm just very aware of things going on down there..I guess that's normal..anyway, staying positive..will post back in two weeks for follow up!! Thanks ya'll, this board has been such a blessing to me!!

I"m trying to stay positive..at least it's not ectopic..that was my worst fear...I'm not sure how to feel about my labs, but everything I've read says that as long as it goes up 60% it's ok...which is what my doctor said..anyway..just waiting for next Thursday!

Well the numbers are supposed to double every 48-72 hrs...I don't know how your lab draw fit into that time frame exactly. I think your numbers are really awesome. Try to relax and hopefully you'll have more good news soon. You can always request another blood draw if you're nervous about your numbers.

I went around 8 on Tuesday, and around the same time on Thursday, so 48 hours...I had thought about doing more bloodwork, but we live so far from the hospital..I'm sure everything is fine...I'll check back in when I have u/s #2

Yep, you still had another 24 hrs in the window...so I'm sure your numbers are good, too. Hopefully little one is in there growing away and doing what s/he's supposed to be doing right now.
