how to honor due date
Wed, 12-26-2012 - 10:29pm

Hi all,

I joined this board back in July when I miscarried, but haven't been on much because it is just too hard.  My due date is in a few weeks and I am wondering what others may have done to recognize this day?

I've seen women do a balloon release, plant a tree or rose bush (which isn't really good for this time of year) or just have a day to themselves.  If you wanted to plant something, you could always pick out a pretty flowered shrub that you could plant in the spring.    You could light a candle.  (((HUGS))) I hope that the day won't be too hard for you.

Hi, my expected due date is coming up for my beloved son, on Jan 17th.  Cry

I've already passed my 1st loss' due date, on July 21st, 2012....and now approaching my second. I, honestly, just had a quiet day to myself and reflected.  I, recently, had a 3rd loss, but it was an egg that never turned into anything, and that due date is on my DD's bday, so I will again, just spend a quiet day and reflect and say a prayer.  I know we have 2 angels looking out for us now and I will say a special prayer to know that each are loved very much!  <3
