Regrets

I'm so sorry for your loss. My regrets involve the pregnancy. I regret being so worried, I regret not having hope when there was nothing wrong. I regret thinking I would never bring the baby home when I had no reason to think that.

I'm so sorry you didn't get to hold your daughter, but for some, that is better. I know you'll always have that regret.

For me, I TRY to not think about what I didn't get, I try super hard to remember good things, I try to remember the kicks and how good it felt when he would move... I try to remember the ultrasounds and how much he moved around. It doesn't always work and the regrets sneak in.

The grief after losing a child is a lot like a rollercoaster. You'll have ups and downs, and every once in a while you'll be spun around... it's all normal. Come here for support, the ladies here have been a wonderful support to me.
