For those who don't know: DH and I recently had a late mc (16 weeks, 1 day). Prior to that, we had our rainbow, June (9-8-10), and before that, our sweetest boy, Andrew was born into heaven (5-23-09).

I'm sort of in the same boat (of course, my recent m/c was much earlier than yours), but I know that if we don't try for another baby, I'll look back and regret it.

Sorry, Susan--I have a new student teacher at work and haven't had as much time to get on here, so I've missed your post until now.

We can't unring the bell and forget everything about our cycles that we've learned along the way, can we?

You know, I have one son that is 20, a daughter that is 6, our Angel Bregan would be 3 and our Rainbow DD that is 2. Part of me still feels that our family is not complete. We had to miscarriages before we had DD1 in 2006, so sadly, I know that loss as well. I am now 40 and I am feeling the pressure to either put out of get out of the baby game. DD2 is daytime potty trained and in a toddler bed. DD1 can do so much for herself now and I am working really hard and getting fit and staying in shape. I have ran one marathon this year and I am running another half this month and my first triathlon of the season in May (I did my first last summer before my first half marathon). But part of me still wants one more baby before I start thinking about the end game too much. My DH is about 8 years younger than me and even though with our wild DD's - he still has baby fever! Of course he has moments of clarity during mega meltdowns and pee-pee accidents - lol! My DH is deploying in September for about 9 months - I think if we are not pregnant by then, we may not worry about it when he gets back next year. I mean, I may feel differently and he may as well - but our girls will be another year older and closer to being more independent. I don't know - I could go either way, but I think I say that so my heart will not be broken again.... KWIM?? Best wishes to all of your TTC'ing right now!!
