Hi alison,
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I lost my first child, my daughter, in September. After the fact, I too was diagnosed with MTHFR, homo, and am curious what the regimen is you are following. I have been taking my prenatal, a baby aspirin, omega supplement and extra folic acid.
The high risk doctor I spoke with a couple of months after said not to be too worried about it affecting a subsequent pregnancy but then I read about women such as yourself who had the same thing happen to them as I did and it makes me want to be in better control so that this will never happen again. Did your doctor offer better advice or a plan for you to follow? We want to ttc again in feb. but I am giving myself until then to heal more emotionally and know that my body is ready too.
thanks and hugs, susie

I just wanted to 'welcome' you to the board, and to let you know that you are not the only one out there. We are all in the same boat as you, although we don't want to, and hope to get those BFP's soon so that we don't have to go through much torture waiting to hold a baby in our arms.

We lost our sweet Elise at 26 weeks on August 29, 2009, stillborn with no answers.

Alison.. I am so sorry about the loss of Eliza. I lost my son to a cord accident too and I am doing the 81mg of aspirin, extra folic acid, B6 and omega 3 thing as well. I tested negative to any disorders but my Dr is convinced that the aspirin will help with blood flow through the placenta. I hope our stay here is short and that you can conceive soon. I haven't been so lucky.

Hi Alison,

I am so sorry for the loss of your little girl, Eliza Paige.

I am glad to see that you found the board supportive and full of hope. We are here for you through it all as you TTC again...

Its not an easy decision to make, I wish you a quick journey to your next BFP...but as you wait, I look forward to getting to know you.
