ADRs and plans for March
Sun, 09-22-2013 - 8:04am

Got my ADRs for our March trip this morning. I wasn't actually planning on getting up early for it, since nothing on our list was THAT hard to get... but I ended up being awake at 4:15am anyway, and could tell I wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep, so I just got up and did it. (Online ressies open at 4am for us way out here in Colorado...)

The trip continues to grow, lol! Originally 2 days, it's now become more like 3.5. We are flying in Friday morning (instead of late afternoon) and not driving over to Titusville (for the Space Center) until Monday night (instead of Monday morning). We will definitely spend Saturday at AK, if we feel like we get everything done there that we wanted to, then we may go to Epcot on Sunday. I know, I said this was an AK-ONLY trip... but F&G festival will be going on again... and those snack booths sure were yummy Cool

Then we are going to spend Monday at Downtown Disney. Dh has never been there, so I'm making him go just this once. Owen really wants to do the Characters in Flight balloon, and Lily wants to go to Disney Quest. (I'm thinking since we are getting NE tickets, I'll add the water park option which includes DQ - then we'll have 10 admissions to those to use up at some point, and it only costs slightly more than the base tickets.)

So anyway, here is our line-up:

Fri 3/21
D - Boma

Sat 3/22
L - Yak & Yeti
D - Jiko

Sun 3/23
B - Boma
D - Sanaa

M 3/24
B - Ohana
D - Wolfgang Puck

I am trying really hard to be more relaxed this time about the planning, and of course this is the year that they finally come out with FP+. Not sure how that is going to fit with my attempt to be more "go-with-the-flow", but I sure would have loved it last year, lol!

Oh and I just realized I need up update my siggy. The kids have turned 10 and 3 in the past couple of weeks, so Disney is now officially a LOT more expensive, ha!

How cool!   Love your plans/choices!   We really enjoyed AKL and hope to go back ourselves some day.  Sigh.

And I look forward to a trip report!!

Fun!!! Love the fact that your trip keeps getting longer. I feel guilty that we are staying at AKL and not taking advantage of the dining they offer but it doesn't seem to fit I this trIp... I can't wait to hear about your trip and I hope you share the Kennedy Space Center stuff with us too! We need to get there one of these days.

Oh good reminder re: kid vs. adult. Megan's NE tickets are almost gone, so we should buy more before she turns 10 (over a year from now, but still...). Your trip sounds marvelous. You're packing a lot into a few days!

Oooh, lots of yummy meals planned! I love how your trip is growing - how can it not? :D  I would love to visit Kennedy Space Center some day or venture outside of the World LOL But I love to stay inside the World more :D  And yes, I remember the year both girls were considered "adults" - ouch! :(
