We are about to book a 4 night trip in December. Since we will be traveling with a 3 month old, 3 year old, and 6 year old, we planned to stay closer to the MK where we will spend most of our time.

We are looking to book a stnd room ( are these in the tower or South wing? ) Is there a big difference in the Garden View and Standard?

How is the contemp since the renovations? How long does it take to walk to the MK from the tower or South Wing? We are looking for fun and ease of getting to and from the parking lot and parks. We are planning to drive to the parks which do not have monorail for ease of exit. I would love to get more info on what the Contemp is like compared to the others...

I have an idea of what our ADR are going to be; however I thought that we may try Chef Mickey the evening we arrive.. How late do they stay open?

Thanks for the help..

I don't know if I'm too late chiming in but I wanted to share our experience staying at the Polynesian Hotel. My son was 18 months old at the time and my husband was on business travel. The travel agent in charge of the convention actually steered us toward the Poly and I'm glad she did. I felt like I was staying in some all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean - lush landscaping, amazing pool area, and a wonderful beach area with permanently-installed tent-like canopies so that the tots can play in the sand while still in the shade. I LOVED it!
