....if you can bring your own DVD player and plug it into the TV's at the ASMusic Family Suite? SInce we have my DS this year with us, we want to be able to entertain him when we are in the room, and since we won't have Disney on Demand (i.e. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Special Agent Oso whenever we need), we want to be able to have DVDs to play for him. DH wants to buy a portable DVD player.....but I don't see a reason to spend the extra money on something that isn't really a necessity (he seems to think it is, and I KNOW it isn't, and he just wants one because he wants one....ugh, men!). So I mentioned taking the small DVD player with us instead, and he was all "I'm sure you aren't allowed" or "I'm sure they've fixed it so you can't" (ie won't work with the TVs). But I don't see how/why they would do that. So does anyone have first-hand experience of using their own DVD player in the FS?

Never tried at Disney, but I know many hotels don't have the appropriate plug-ins on the TVs in order to do it.

Here's the channel line-up at the resorts...

Gina, I think you're son is about the same age my daughter was last time we went ... She was 1.5 years and did really well with what selection they had.
