Has anyone stayed at these hotels?

We are planning our first WDW trip with the kids (3 and 5). My DH used to do lots of travelling for his job and accumulated a ton of points with Holiday Inn. I've been looking at some of the Holiday Inn hotels (because we could basically stay for free) but I don't want to be too disappointed with the accomodations. We plan to spend one day at the hotel swimming so the pool has to be nice.

1. Nick Hotel. It sounds like fun for the kids, but is it too much (in terms of character/kid overload)? We are also bringing grandparents and my sister and BIL (who don't have kids). I don't want them to feel like they didn't get a moment of peace and quiet.

2. Either of the Staybridge Suites. We like the idea of a suite because the kids go to bed before us. Are these nice?

The other option is to save the Holiday Inn points for another trip and pay for a hotel at Disney. The Caribe Royale Suites sounds very nice and the price on mousesavers.com isn't bad.

What do you think?

Thanks,
Kathy

How about the Holiday Inn @ Downtown Disney? Personally when I stayed at the Grosvernor at DTD the convienence of being able to walk across the street and being in DTD was awesome! Plus your party could easily split up for the afternoon (kids/parents swimming while grandparents go over to DTD or vs versa. Parents walk over to DTD for a night out while grandparents stay at hotel with kids, etc).
